Loop, Microsoft Notion competitor, is officially launched

With the Loop app, real-time collaboration is made easier.

Microsoft has just revealed its new productivity and collaboration app called Loop.

This app, similar to Notion, provides flexible and collaborative workspaces and pages to streamline teamwork. If you’re familiar with Notion’s interface, Loop shares a striking resemblance, even down to the convenience of accessing tools and formatting options with a simple forward slash key, bringing up what Microsoft calls the “insert menu.”

Because Loop is developed by Microsoft, it comes with valuable integrations with other Microsoft software. This means you can easily share portions of Loop pages in apps like Teams Chat and Outlook, streamlining collaboration without the need to switch between different applications. Additionally, Loop features Microsoft’s AI-powered Copilot assistant, offering assistance with tasks such as drafting text and summarizing content within the app.

Loop is now available for commercial customers on both web and mobile platforms, with the mobile app accessible for consumer customers. Although Loop entered public preview in March, the consumer version of Loop on the web is still in public preview, as mentioned by Microsoft’s Matt Anderson.
