X/Twitter launches video and audio calls – here’s how to use this
X users, Now you can talk and see your friends on X, thanks to the new audio and video call feature. This cool feature is available for X Premium users, which used to be called Twitter Blue. But here’s the catch, it’s only on iOS devices for now. Don’t worry, Android users, your turn is coming soon!
Imagine you are chatting with a friend on X, and you suddenly want to see their smiling face or hear their laughter. Now, you can do this, But there is a small fee of $8 per month for this feature. It’s like a subscription to unlock this amazing ability.
If you’re an X Premium user and you’ve chatted with someone before, you can tap a button and choose to make an audio or video call. It’s like magic, But remember, both of you need to have sent at least one message to each other before you can call.
What to Do?
If you’re already a Premium user, make sure you update your X app to the latest version. Then, go to your chat, tap the phone icon, and voila! You can choose to talk or have a video chat.

- Only X Premium users can start calls, but anyone on X can receive them.
- Don’t worry if you’re on Android; this feature will soon be available for you too.
