The Analogue 3D Plays Nintendo 64 Games At 4K Resolution, Releasing Next Year

The Analogue Pocket is a fantastic handheld device that lets you play old Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games on a beautiful screen. It combines retro games with modern technology, making it the perfect way to enjoy your favorite Game Boy titles. However, it’s always sold out, making it hard to get one.

Analogue, the company behind the Pocket, is working on something new called the Analogue 3D. This device aims to bring back Nintendo 64 games, allowing people to play these classic games in a modern way. It’s an exciting development for gaming fans!

Analogue has shared an image of what appears to be the device, although its full appearance is obscured. Below is a link to it, as well as at the top of the article:

Analogue has revealed some exciting features for its upcoming 3D device. This new gadget will support 4K HDMI output, which means you can enjoy your games in stunning high resolution on modern TVs. It will run on Analogue’s special operating system, offering a unique and user-friendly interface.

The 3D device will also come with wireless Bluetooth and 2.4G Wi-Fi capabilities, making it easy to connect with other devices and accessories. What’s even cooler is that it will have “4 original-style controller ports.” This suggests that you can use your original Nintendo 64 controllers, giving you a nostalgic gaming experience.

Analogue has taken advantage of the 4K output to create some incredible display modes, promising a visually immersive experience for players. Additionally, they’re teaming up with 8BitDo to launch a wireless controller specifically designed for the 3D device, offering players more options for how they want to play their favorite games. In retro gaming enthusiasts’ eyes, this combination of features makes the Analogue 3D a must-have.

Analogue did not reveal any more details, but the 3D is expected to release sometime in 2024. Preorders are not yet open, but if it’s like the Pocket release, preorders will happen well before the actual release (and if you want one, plan on preordering because the Pockets sold out immediately).
