Capcom has exciting news for Resident Evil fans with the upcoming expansion for Resident Evil 4 Remake titled “Separate Ways,” set to launch on September 21. This expansion offers players a fresh perspective as they take control of the mysterious spy, Ada Wong, whose mission runs concurrently with Leon S. Kennedy’s adventure in the main game.

The reveal of Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways isn’t surprising for those who completed the remake earlier this year. It was already hinted at by Leon himself and data miners.

In the original version of Separate Ways, Ada performs critical actions such as ringing the church bell to halt the village attack on Leon, preventing Leon’s demise at the hands of Jack Krauser, and securing the rocket launcher that becomes pivotal in the game’s final battle. Additionally, the original Resident Evil 4 featured a separate playable chapter titled “Assignment: Ada,” where Ada obtains plaga samples for Albert Wesker.

Furthermore, Ada Wong will become a playable character in Resident Evil 4’s Mercenaries mode, alongside the new addition, Albert Wesker. This exciting update will be available for free on September 21.
