Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s open-world Zombies mode has been revealed

Zombies is coming to the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare series for the first time this November!

The people who made zombies in Call of Duty and the studio behind Black Ops, called Treyarch, are in charge of creating this new mode. This mode is coming to the Modern Warfare games for the first time.

There’s a cool trailer that shows what this mode is all about. In this game, you’ll have to work together with other groups of players to fight against zombies in a big open world. You can watch the trailer below to see more.

Get ready to go up against more zombies than ever before! In this new game mode called Operation Deadbolt, you’ll have to complete tough and multi-step missions. You’ll be playing as Soap and his team, trying to stop Zakhaev and Terminus from taking valuable resources. All of this while trying to stop the current zombie problem from getting worse and out of hand,” Activision explained in their blog.

Modern Warfare Zombies brings together the best elements from Modern Warfare maps and systems with the well-loved features of Treyarch Zombies. It offers a fresh take on the popular third game mode. When Modern Warfare III is released, you’ll be able to play it alongside the Campaign and Multiplayer.

You’ll need to work on containing the zombie outbreak in various regions, and the challenges will get tougher as you progress. Along the way, you’ll find classic Zombies features and plenty of hidden secrets to uncover.

Get prepared for an open-world adventure where you and your squad team up with others to survive against the environment (PvE) in an extraction scenario. There will also be some special story missions to tackle. You’ll encounter all sorts of interesting challenges and surprises, including cinematic moments that highlight the main story.

Modern Warfare 3 is scheduled to come out on November 10, 2023. It continues the story from Modern Warfare 2 and is being developed by Sledgehammer in partnership with Infinity Ward.
